cannacar ® is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and exceed to Level AAA where practical without compromising brand identity — including enhanced text contrast (1.4.6) and 44×44 CSS-pixel target sizes on primary buttons (2.5.5).

Evaluation method

Conformance is evaluated with a combination of automated and manual testing: axe-core against every public route and email template, Playwright reflow checks at 320 CSS px and simulated 400% desktop zoom, keyboard-only walkthroughs of the primary user flows, and manual screen-reader spot checks (VoiceOver on macOS, NVDA on Windows). These gates run before each release and again monthly via a scheduled job.

Measures we take

• Semantic HTML with clear heading structure and landmark regions.
• Keyboard-navigable menus, dialogs, and form controls.
• Alt text on informative images and ARIA labels on icon-only controls.
• Color-contrast tokens targeting WCAG AA (and AAA where practical).
• A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
• Support for browser zoom to 400%, reduced motion, and screen readers.
• Automated accessibility tests covering every public route.
• Live-region announcements for route changes and status updates.
