    cannacar ® operates exclusively as a medical cannabis delivery platform, serving qualifying patients in every US state that maintains any form of legal medical cannabis program — 47 states plus Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Recreational service is paused pending DOJ rulemaking on Schedule III cannabis, expected end of June 2026.

    Our state legality matrix is derived from the CDC's State Medical Cannabis Laws: CDC State Medical Cannabis Laws. Per CDC, Idaho, Kansas, and Nebraska have no medical cannabis access; every other state permits at least a low-THC or CBD program for qualifying patients.

    Low-THC / CBD programs (9) — restricted product availability

    In these states, cannacar ® only lists and delivers products that comply with state-imposed THC caps and category limits. Patients in these states will not see flower, concentrates, or vapes that exceed the local THC threshold.

    • Georgia: Georgia's Low THC Oil Program permits cannabis oil with ≤5% THC for registered patients.
    • Indiana: Indiana permits hemp-derived CBD only (≤0.3% THC).
    • Iowa: Iowa's Medical Cannabidiol Program caps THC purchases at 4.5g over 90 days; ≤3% THC products.
    • North Carolina: North Carolina permits hemp extract ≤0.9% THC for qualifying patients with intractable epilepsy.
    • South Carolina: South Carolina permits CBD oil ≤0.9% THC for qualifying patients.
    • Tennessee: Tennessee permits CBD oil ≤0.9% THC for qualifying conditions.
    • Texas: Texas Compassionate Use Program permits low-THC cannabis (≤1% THC) for qualifying patients.
    • Wisconsin: Wisconsin permits CBD oil ≤0.3% THC for medical use.
    • Wyoming: Wyoming permits hemp extract with ≤0.3% THC for qualifying patients with intractable epilepsy.

    Delivery requirements

    All deliveries require a valid government-issued photo ID confirming the recipient is 21 years or older and a valid state-issued medical cannabis card (or qualifying patient registration in low-THC/CBD states). Drivers verify both at the point of delivery.
